Joy Onley is a lover of history and is the author of two books: “Memories of
Frederick Over On The Other Side” and “Dear Old Faithful Lincoln.” She is
currently working on a third book.
She is a member of the Board of Directors for the African American Research
and Cultural Heritage (AARCH) Association. She is also a past member of the
Frederick County Human Relations Commission and was recently appointed
to the Frederick County Historical Preservation Commission.
